Tours can be combined, e.g. Safari with Ndebele culture and Mpumalanga Scenics etc, achieving an overall price reduction.

Tours do not include alcohol or other personal items, and all tours longer than two days will include a mandatory additional R900 Tyre Levy.

NOTE: All safaris include a minimum of three nights in Kruger National Park (KNP), with the more expensive tours including extra days at private game lodges, which are much more expensive than the government accommodation in KNP, which is very comfortable, but not luxurious.

Private lodges have rangers and trackers in open 4x4 vehicles and get you right up close to the Big 5, and can go off-road, which you cannot do in Kruger. Sightings are not crowded as they sometimes are in Kruger.

NOTE: Due to KNP Booking System, prices change according to availability of accommodation from day to day. It is advisable to book as far in advance as possible (at least SIX MONTHS before), to ensure the best accommodation, and we try to get the best price for you.

The private lodges are even more in demand and around six months or more lead time is often required to get a booking.

10-14 Day Mid-range & Luxury African Wildlife Photo Safari

At least five days in Kruger National Park. The rest in a Private Game Reserve (depending on your preferences), Open 4x4 Game Drive Vehicle, Luxury Accommodation, Private Ranger and Tracker, all inclusive except drinks and personal items. Guests are expected to know their cameras. David will give each guest personal attention with regard to many aspects of photography, lighting, composition, action photography, post production etc.

How It Works

1. We like to keep thing simple and safe.

2. Multi-Day Tours: Quotes are issued upon request and valid for 30 days if booked direct. If you wish to book through SafariBookings, we follow their protocols. If you use SafariBookings, remember that I pay them a hefty fee in Euros to obtain the contacts of the quote requester (you).  If you are getting more than one quote, better to contact me directly, otherwise I lose money to SafariBookings when you go with someone else.

A Deposit of 50% is payable upon acceptance of Quote and at least 30 days prior to departure, except in the case of day tours, when it is payable immediately in cash. Payment in full (balance 50%) is payable 30 days before departure to the nominated account on the Invoice. Air travel bookings require 100% upfront payment and are not refundable. No air travel bookings are accepted for international home flights.

3. Payment must be in cash, or via EFT to supplied bank details. Funds must clear before tour departs. Some transfers can attract additional fees. All bank fees for tour payments are for your account.

4. The Exchange Rate of the Date of the Quote will prevail.

5.Value-Added Tax (VAT) of 15% is charged on all local charges. VAT is refundable upon declaration of goods with receipts at a customs departure point for all goods exported with a value above R250. 6. Ukhozi Tours is fully Tax Compliant. We seek to protect you and ourselves from payment fraud or criminal behaviour.

7. A 50% refund will only be issued for cancellations 30 days or more prior to tour departure booking date. A 90% refund will be issued for cancellations due to death or serious accident (spouse or immediate family member), upon presentation of proof. *

* No other refunds will be issued. Some service providers may not provide refunds and these Third Parties will need to be paid in full. Any refunds will be paid less bank charges.
